How to create database link in Oracle 9i
CREATE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK "RAF"
CONNECT TO "APPS"
IDENTIFIED BY "APPS"
USING '(description=(address=(protocol=TCP)
(host=server1)(port=1521))(connect_data=(sid=DEV)))'
Run the following from sqlplus to test your dblink
SELECT SYSDATE FROM DUAL@RAF
